Frome area has a monthly social group for people with dementia and their family/carers called Café Connect.
Organiser Jenny Hartnoll said, “Come along and join us at this friendly supportive group.
“A different organisation hosts the café each month, coming together to give patients with dementia and their carers information about the support available.
“Host organisations are Health Connections Mendip, Alzheimer’s Society, Rethink Reconnect and Somerset Partnership Carers’ Service.
“Occasionally, visiting organisations come along to give interesting talks. For the March meeting, there will be a fire safety talk.
“The group is held at Frome Medical Centre on the second Thursday of each month, from 10.30am to 12.00noon. No need to book, just turn up. For further information please contact Health Connections Mendip on 01373 468368.”
