THE next Frome Freelancers event will be held this Friday, 8th July, from 10am to midday at Frome Town Hall.
“This is a monthly networking event (with soul!) for freelancers, the self-employed, creatives and community groups,” said organisers. “Join us for gorgeous teas, real coffee and scrumptious biscuits! And then let’s get down to experience a specialised workshop!
“James Godman will be informing us on how government are changing the way businesses need to work to meet the Net Zero challenge, and encouraging us to think about some simple steps we can take to start making a change.
“James Godman is a self-employed creative innovator with over 30 years’ experience in the public and private sectors, providing solutions for businesses, councils and charities.
“A master facilitator and catalyst for change, he is currently the senior economic and planning manager at Somerset County Council and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
“James also recently established the Frome International Climate Film Festival and now also the Climate Film Collective which aim to connect communities, share knowledge and inspire green, sustainable change.”
