ST Leonard’s Church at Marston Bigot has opened its doors to invite musicians to come and try out its wonderful acoustics (and grand organ!).
Organisers say, “Join us for an afternoon of tea, cake and entertainment in this 18th century building. The building lies a couple of miles west of Frome in a fabulous setting with wide and tranquil views of fields and woods of the River Frome valley. It is known for its wonderful peal of eight bells and its important stained glass windows, which have recently been refurbished. Poetry, comedy and dance etc welcome too! As well as spectators.”
The open mic event on Sunday 8th May, 3pm to 6pm. Entry is a minimum £3 donation to Ukraine. Parking available or enjoy a walk across the fields. Just turn up and play or contact sara@ gracefulsolutions.co.uk for further details.
