Millie Moon, the haberdashery shop on Catherine Hill, has just celebrated 15 years of providing sewing and craft equipment for the people of Frome and they are offering special birthday offers to celebrate the occasion.
Sisters Rachel and Becki opened Millie Moon in July 2008 originally to sell fabrics, ribbons and haberdashery; fast forward 15 years and they have expanded to develop their own range of exclusive kits, patterns and fabrics. These are designed alongside local artists and creatives including Becki’s daughter Millie (aka Kool Kactus).
The sisters say, “We would like to say a big thank you to all our customers for their continued support! After all these years, we are so lucky to call many of you our friends. Please pop in and celebrate with us on the market weekend for special birthday offers and some exciting new products being launched.”
Millie Moon also stocks work by other local artists, and they run workshops for people to learn more about different techniques. The sisters added, “Our workshops are really important to us. We love being able to teach others to sew, mend and be creative. There are workshops for everyone!”
