Frome Gateway Club has been celebrating after raising enough money to provide club members and their helpers with new club jackets.
Leader of Frome Gateway Club, Ann Taylor said, “Following members’ requests, the club has been saving up and putting aside sums from donations in the last few years from kind sponsors for the jackets.
“Thanks to Coventry Building Society, Lions Club, FUKES, Selwood Rotary and Frome Town Council, who have all helped with events, trips and general running expenses, the club gained sufficient additional funds.
“After an excellent printing service from the local Recognition Express, the goal was met.”
Gateway Club members also found the time recently to celebrate this year’s Chinese New Year with a large hand-made spectacular dragon.
