A new business coaching programme for local businesses has got the backing from Frome Chamber of Commerce.
ActionCOACH, based at the Old Church School, is running an ongoing group coaching programme for local business people to help them improve their company’s success and plan for the future.
“One of the biggest obstacles to growing your business is finding the time to invest in working ‘on’ your business rather than just ‘in’ it,” said Frome Chamber of Commerce president Nigel Harris.
“Frome-based business coach Peter Rolliston runs a very successful monthly ActionCLUB which brings together small business owners with a desire to grow, and leads them through a structured programme that is guaranteed to deliver results. So the Chamber is delighted that Peter will be running an ActionCLUB in Frome from July for local businesses looking to grow in 2015.
“It can be difficult to find the time but without this kind of investment to help focus them, small business owners can be in danger of spending time on things that don’t achieve what they want and we think this programme will help them focus on the actions that will expand their business,” he added.
The ActionCLUB group coaching course is offering two programmes – a set of monthly sessions designed to focus on business planning, increasing sales, better marketing, improving customer service and building teams. There are also a set of one-day workshops held every three months focussing on planning.
“Both programmes are designed to give you the knowledge of how to create the business you’ve always wanted,” explained business coach Peter Rolliston, who is running the programme.
“The sessions are very practical because you’ll also implement many of the strategies we look at during the sessions so you will put into practice everything that you learn.”
The courses are held in a group so business people will also work alongside fellow professionals and can benefit from access to ongoing coaching outside the sessions.
