Positive Action on Cancer will be holding a Charity Race Night at Frome Football Club on Saturday 24th October to raise much-needed funds for its ever expanding service.
Tickets are priced at just £5 each and a hot supper is included in the price.
The event is being organised in partnership with one of PAC’s valued volunteers Dot Cretney who says “Race Nights are an evening of fun and laughter where we have six horse races sponsored by various companies. Each race has 8 horses in them and each horse is auctioned off before the race.
“If your horse wins you receive 40% of the total takings for that race and if you are 2nd you get 20%. There is also a tote where you can buy a horse for £1. You can make it as cheap or expensive as you wish, but it is always best to get a table of friends together.
“There is a hot supper and for a fiver it’s a great value for money fun night out!”
