THE daughter of PAC’s founder, Jill Miller, is once again fundraising to support the work of the charity – this time by shaving her head.
Charlotte Miller supported PAC in 2012 by running the Brighton Marathon and has now decided to take on a different challenge for 2013.
On 28th April Charlotte will be shaving off all of her hair to raise money for the Frome-based charity PAC. Charlotte lives in Brighton and will be visiting a local salon to do the deed. Afterwards, Charlotte plans to donate her hair to the Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs to children suffering hair loss due to cancer treatment.
Charlotte raised over £1,000 in 2012 and hopes to better that total in 2013. If you would like to support Charlotte please visit www.justgiving.com/Char lotte-Miller2013
Kelly Hall, fundraiser at PAC said, “Wow! This is such an amazing way to raise money for PAC. A big thank you to Charlotte and everyone who is supporting her. We are also pleased to hear Charlotte’s hair will be going to good use after the event. PAC continues to deliver support to over 250 people each year affected by cancer, and activities such as this head shave make such a difference to our work.”
PAC is currently the only organisation to offer free, professional counselling to any adults or children affected or bereaved by cancer and other life threatening illnesses in BANES, Somerset and West Wilts.
