THE next Children’s Clothing Exchange at Wesley Church will be held on Monday 18th July.
Organisers say, “There have now been two successful sessions of the Children’s Clothing Exchange. These take place on the third Monday of the month, from 9.30am to 11am, the next one being on Monday 18th July at the church in Wesley Slope (BA11 1HA).
“Mums who came have been enthusiastic about the project, which allows them to donate outgrown but still good clothes and choose other items of a larger size. No money is involved.
“Donations have been gratefully received and sorted by volunteers who have been impressed by the quality of items received.
“The exchange takes place in the church and there is level access from the back door. Tea and coffee are available, also space to sit and chat, with toys to occupy toddlers while their mothers look at what is on offer.
“Rev Jill Warren and the other volunteers see this project as a very practical way for the church to get involved in the life of the town. The church also runs a weekly mums and toddler group, Little Rascals, every Tuesday morning.”
