FROME Children’s Festival is looking for sponsors.
The festival offers free or lo-cost good quality events and activities to children which are accessible to all, and their next event will be the Christmas party.
It is hoped that this will be held at the Cheese and Grain on Sunday 17th December, but a sponsor is still needed.
“The party traditionally brings all the fun of the festive season to around 300 children and can be enjoyed by all,” said director of Purple Elephant Sue Willis, who organises the festival.
“The Christmas party has traditionally featured crafts, performances, face-painting and of course Santa!
“We rely on grants and donations so please help us spread the festive cheer and get in touch if your local business is interested in being this year’s sponsor.
“All the Children’s Festival events are non-profit making and rely on grants and local sponsors.”
The festival recently received a boost after securing local Asda funding after they came first in the latest round of the green tokens scheme.
“We would like to thank all our loyal supporters who shopped in Asda and voted for the festival,” added Sue. “The event is extremely popular but difficult to keep it free so we are very grateful to have such good local support.”
