Fair Frome organise Christmas gift parcels for people in need. They have stared collecting items and would appreciate donations.
The items they need are mince pies, Christmas puddings, tinned fruit, tinned custard, tinned salmon, tinned ham, Pringles, pots of cheese biscuits, chocolates for adults/children, biscuits; assorted, chocolate, shortbread, Christmas crackers and any Christmas goodies with a sell by date not later than January 2017.
Donations are needed by 10th December to enable them to pack bags and distribute. Wendy Miller-Williams said, Fair Frome co-ordinator said, “Donations, as always are gratefully received particularly at this time of year.”
There are food collection boxes in ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Frome Funeral Care at Badcox, Barnardo’s, Frome Whole Foods, Westway Co-op, and Tesco Express.
All donations of non-perishable packet and tinned goods are very welcome, for example: instant snacks, tinned meat, tinned vegetables and tinned fruit, cereals, coffee, tea, rice sauces and pasta sauces.
