What do you do with a hundred million pieces of much-loved plastic glitter at Christmas? This was the question posed by Springmead School.
They said, “You can’t send it to the landfill or wash it into the waterways. So at Springmead School and nursery, we collected it all together, had an assembly, and the whole school poured it into a glass Christmas tree, to bring out each year, as a reminder of how each and every one of us needs to do our bit to help our beautiful planet. Biodegradable glitter here we come!”
