FROME Wessex Camera Club will be holding an exhibition of images by local photographers at Corsley Reading Rooms from 22nd October.
The organisers say, “The pandemic affected us all – and still does. We each dealt with it in our own way. In this unique exhibition, 21 local photographers from the Frome Wessex Camera Club give their often highly personal interpretation of what it all meant to them.
“It’s the first local exhibition of its kind, and an official ‘opening up’ of the Corsley Reading Rooms.
“All the photographs have been taken in the local area, ranging from landscapes to documentary, to abstracts. Each photographer created a short series that together tell a larger story; whether poignant, beautiful, or thought-provoking.”
The exhibition is at Corsley Reading Rooms, Corsley Heath, BA12 7PR, open from 22nd – 25th October 10am-5pm each day. Refreshments will be available on the two weekend days. Entry is free and there is also free car parking available.
