A GROUP of Frome College students were treated to a guitar masterclass from Eden Stell Guitar Duo organised by the Jackdaws Music Education Trust.
24 College music students from all year groups were invited to attend the guitar masterclass, where they were taught a piece of music in 45 minutes by Mark Eden and Christopher Stell.
Mark and Christopher graduated from the Royal Academy of Music as recipients of the Principal’s Prize and the Julian Bream Prize, and continued their studies in Brussels with the Brazilian Guitar Duo, Sérgio and Odair Assad with the aid of a grant from the Worshipful Company of Musicians.
Internationally renowned for their dynamism, innovation and breathtaking virtuosity. the Eden Stell Guitar Duo are said to have breathed new life into the world of the classical guitar.
The group thoroughly enjoyed the class and at the end of the session they all played the piece of music together.
