A TEAM of staff and parents from Christ Church First School completed the Colour Run at Bath Racecourse on Saturday 23rd April to raise money for the school and nursery.
This was a 5km sponsored run with a difference. Along the way, the team of 12 had to tackle 20 obstacles and challenges including high slides, crawling tunnels, balance beams and space hoppers. And, as if that wasn’t taxing enough, runners were covered in multi-coloured paint.
Caroline Stedman, school administrator explained, “Funds raised will be used to enhance and redesign the outdoor space at Christ Church.
“School council will be having their say about the landscaping and equipment they want for play and learn outside.”
Headteacher, Rupert Kaye, added, “Christ Church School and Nursery is holding an Open Day on 4th May and all parents are invited to come along and see what we do.”
Sponsorship is still being collected but if you would like to donate or would like more information on the open day please call the school on 01373 463781.
