FROME carers group are looking for new members to join the group.
The group is for those who look after a family member, friend or neighbour with a long-term illness or disability. It aims to give carers a time to relax and meet others, and some much-needed time for themselves.
The group meets on the first Wednesday of the month at Frome Cricket Club, Rodden Road, BA11 2AH, from 10.30am – 12.30pm. The group has a few outings planned as well as speakers. All carers are welcome.
The group says it is looking to boost its numbers, “We had 31 members in our group since our return in August 2021 the most we’ve had return is 15. We have a number of speakers that come to us as well as going on a few local outings to garden centres and places like that.
“We just need to get the word out we are back and open to new members.”
