Following their successful treadmill challenge at the end of January, staff at Critchill Court have already made plans for their next fundraising activity.
10 brave members of Frome care staff will be undertaking a challenge on Saturday 19th March, abseiling down ‘Split Rock Quarry’ near Wells.
The care home staff will be undertaking this terrifying challenge to raise funds for the residents’ amenities fund, which goes towards trips out and organising events and activities for the residents at Critchill Court.

Speaking on the event, manager Karen Reeves said, “My first thought was ‘AAAHHHHH’, but I’m excited for the challenge. We’ve got a great team of staff here who always put our residents first; it’s great to find new ways of fundraising for them.”
Staff and residents at the Frome care home are extremely grateful to have received two generous donations from local companies; £450 from Permaframe Ltd and £220 from Stowell Concrete Ltd.
