Frome Town Women 2 – 3 Frampton Rangers Ladies
Frome Town Women fell to Somerset Cup semi-final defeat against Frampton Rangers Ladies at Badger’s Hill.
With another record crowd for the women’s team, with 218 in attendance at the Hill, Frome put on a great show despite the result.
Manager Ben Bolland said after the game: “Absolutely gutted, especially for the players. We played some of our best football and controlled the first half brilliantly. Frampton are a good side though and took two half chances to take the lead, and we couldn’t recover enough. Really hard to take losing like that but we will come back from it and finish the season as strong as we can.”
