There are a host of wonderful Taster Day courses at Jackdaws this autumn; whether you’d like to try something new or to polish your skills, the team of friendly and talented tutors will support you!
One Day Courses are open to all singers and musicians and will take place at Jackdaws in Great Elm, just 3 miles from Frome. The Tutor sessions take place from 10.30am to 4pm, with a break for a delicious home cooked lunch, included in the course fee of £45.
Voice teacher, Penny Jenkins makes a welcome return on Saturday 30 November for a Jackdaws One Day favourite Singing for the Over Fifties with Accompanist Colin Hunt.
On Sunday 1 December Anne Bourne will lead Heart Song – Healing with the Voice, an introduction to the healing power of your voice, and how it can transform mind, body and spirit.
Jessica Walker will help you to Understand Your Voice on Saturday 7 December – Explore your voice and increase your confidence as a singer. Colin Hunt will be on hand as Accompanist.
For the final taster day of the season, Wendy Skeen returns to Jackdaws with her popular day course From Panic to Poise on Sunday 8 December, encouraging musicians and singers to work on strategies for overcoming performance anxiety.
