FRONT line staff have received a treat, thanks to local coach company, Lesmon Travel.
They have donated 30 boxes of deluxe Belgium chocolates to staff at Frome Community Hospital, Frome Ambulance Service, Frome Fire Brigade, Rowden House Care Home, Critchill Court Care Home, Belmont Villa Care Home and shop staff at the Co-op store in Badcox and Lidl Frome.
“We are not able to trade for the forseeable future, but as a result of having to cancel a recent tour to Tenby, I was left with 30 odd boxes of Belgium chocolates,” said owners Mark and Brigitte Wye.
“Rather than just letting the family gorge themselves, we donated them to local front line workers as a thank you to the staff. And of course both our mothers, who are self isolating!!
“Although we aren’t trading, can I re-assure all our customers that we are here to help with any concerns they have about holidays they have booked with us, or just if there is anything we can do to help.
“We are constantly monitoring the situation, both locally at home and in areas where we have tours planned in the coming weeks. If there are any changes in advice from the Government we will make decisions about the running of tours at the appropriate time.
“If you have any specific concerns or queries with regard to a forthcoming tour then please feel free to call us on 01373 472289 or visit http://lesmontravel.co.uk”
