A RESERVED matters application has been submitted by Acorn Property Group for 158 dwellings and a neighbourhood centre on the former Butler, Tanner & Dennis site.
The site has remained empty since the departure of the printing company in 2014 when it went into administration. Permission was granted to site owners, London & County, in 2016 to demolish the old printworks and build new housing.
The reserved matters submission is for 158 dwellings and a 447sqm neighbourhood centre, along with associated open space and infrastructure.
Developers say, “The reserved matters layout has been designed to provide a means of reintegrating a variety of landscape functions into the proposals. These include functional public open space, a nature reserve, riverside walk and incidental green spaces and infrastructure.”
A decision for the application is due in May.
