Mendip Disability Forum is a representative voice for disabled people and carers of all ages living in the Mendip area.
Ann Martin said, “We meet up quarterly to discuss disability issues, influence policy makers, socialize and enjoy lunch together. Money is tight for everyone who is fundraising these days and we are so very grateful to everyone in Frome for supporting our ‘Name the Doll’ competition.
“Thanks especially to the committee and members of The South Parade Club where the winning name was selected electronically at the club’s weekly Sunday bingo session. Congratulations to winners, Alex and Lesley Richardson.
“Now named “Izzie” the cuddly pink plush doll was generously donated by a Mendip Disability Forum member from Coleford. The £40 raised will go to MDF’s amenities fund, and once again, thank you to everyone for your support!
