A guide to Christmas markets and fairs, offering ideas for all your gifting needs, has been put together by Discover Frome.
Festive markets run throughout most of November and December, including the regular weekly markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays outside Frome Library, the monthly Farmers’ Market on the Boyle Cross and the Flea and Collectables Market at the Cheese and Grain.
This year, there are a mix of festive markets, maker fairs, a vegan fair, a school fair and more running from mid-November through until just before Christmas for any last-minute shopping.
Many of these markets focus on local makers and businesses, helping people support their local economy whilst also ticking off more unique, meaningful gifts from the list.
Cllr Nick Dove said, “Frome’s Christmas markets and fairs are a highlight of the festive season, bringing warmth, creativity and community spirit to our town. They showcase the incredible talent of our local makers and traders, and remind us of how important it is to have such a thriving independent scene right on our doorstep. I’d encourage everyone to come along, soak up the atmosphere and support our local businesses, it’s a wonderful way to celebrate the season together.”
More events are added on a regular basis to the Discover Frome website. Stay up to date with what is on and plan ahead for your gift-buying with the 2025 Christmas markets and fairs guide, here: https://www.discoverfrome.co.uk/our-2025-christmas-markets-and-fairs-guide/
