MENDIP District Council has made a pledge to financially support Citizens Advice Mendip.
This pledge of support follows the recent decision from Somerset County Council to remove funding from Citizen Advice Bureau services across the county.
Mendip District Council leader, cllr Harvey Siggs said, “Mendip District Council is making a pledge to financially support Citizens Advice Mendip to ensure that their cross-district services are maintained.
“We will be talking to some of the local town councils in Mendip to see how jointly we can work to enhance and support the work of Citizens Advice Mendip in their areas.”
