Frome Toy Library, one of the projects run by Purple Elephant Productions, is to have a new toy cupboard thanks to a donation of £250 by the Lions Club of Frome.
The library, which is held at Portway Methodist Church on Tuesdays from 9.30am to 3pm and on Wednesdays from 1pm to 3pm caters for up to 150 pre-school age children.
There is a wide range of toys, books and puzzles as well as dressing-up clothes and play sacks containing a number of resources around a specific theme etc. giving the children great opportunities to share with and learn from others at the library. Alternatively they may borrow items to take home on loan for two weeks at a time.
Purple Elephant Productions aims to support the local community by running free or very low cost events in Frome allowing all families to attend and enjoy activities .
