PUPILS and staff at Avanti Park School recently showed their love for Red Nose Day as they created a huge heart in the school’s playground, as well as raising £594 for the cause through donations from a non-school uniform day.
“We at Avanti Park School, clearly love Red Nose Day!” said a spokesperson for the school.
“Miss Alison Armstrong and the school council organised a bake sale and our wonderful children and staff wore red – bringing in £1 each to go towards Comic Relief, which is an amazingly good cause. The total amount raised so far is a whopping £594!”
