Macmillan Cancer Support is hosting its annual ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ with fundraisers around the country serving up coffee (and tea) and cake, all in aid of the charity.
In 2017, Frome raised hundred of pounds for Macmillan and this year should be no exception, with coffee mornings being held across Frome and surrounding villages including:
• Fusion Lifestyle, Frome Leisure Centre, Thursday 27th September, 10am-2pm. Organisers say, “Feel free to come and have yummy cakes and hot drinks, all for a donation whilst either watching your children play in soft play, having a chat with friends or just enjoying some quiet time. You’re welcome to bring a cake or something yummy to share (homemade or bought)!”
• Homebase Frome, Friday 28th September and Saturday 29th September. There will be cake/coffee sales going on during the day and organisers hope to have a fire engine on site to do car washes, and a police car/van to entertain the children.
• Boundary Bungalow, Vallis Road, BA11 3EN, Friday 28th September, 10am-4pm. Host Helen Peaty says, “You’re welcome to bring a cake or something yummy to share (homemade or bought)!”
• The Walled Garden at Mells, Friday 28th September, 10am-4.30pm. All takings from our tea, coffee and cakes will go to support Macmillan Cancer Support.
• Trudoxhill Village Hall, Saturday 29th September, 10am-12pm. Come for coffee and cake – Let’s change lives together.

Why not catch up over a cuppa whilst raising money so no-one has to face cancer alone.
