Entries are still open for this year’s Frome Carnival Royalty competitions, which will be held on the 12th and 13th June.
There are 12 places to be filled in this year’s royal family, and selections will take place next weekend.
The selections for Adult Queen and Miss Teenager will be held at Frome Football Club on Friday 12th June from 7.30pm.
The selections for the Children’s Queen and Carnival Granny will be held at Frome Community College (G Block) on Saturday 13th June from 1.15pm
The 12 places up for grabs are:
• Adult Queen plus her two attendants (entrants must be aged 18+ on 31st August)
• Miss Teenager and her two attendants (entrants must be aged 13-17 on 31st August)
• Children’s Queen and four attendants (entrants must be aged 9-12 on 31st August)
• Carnival Granny (entrants must not have won since 2012).
All winners will receive a cash prize and their official dress.
