A FANTASTIC day out for all the family with lots of new attractions – and plenty of cheese – has been promised by the organisers of Frome Cheese Show, which this year takes place on Saturday 9th September.
“Make sure Frome Cheese Show is on the calendar for Saturday 9th September – it’s looking set to be yet another cracking day out for all the family with lots of old favourite and brand new attractions for 2017,” said Amelia Coates, show manager.
“Enjoy our fantastic arena displays, rural showing classes, hundreds of trade stands, country & lakeside pursuit area, funfair, exceptional food and drink and of course an incredible amount of cheese, as we host the prestigious Global Cheese Awards.
“There’s also lots of new attractions this year including a live music stage featuring West Country legends the Wurzels, as well as other local artists. Surrounding the stage will be a fantastic new artisan & street food area; it’ll be the perfect place for relaxing in the balmy September sun!
“Be sure to enter your four-legged friend in the new Garston Vets’ Fun Dog Show, and enjoy new ‘have a go’ activities throughout the showground including circus skills, trials biking, laser clay shooting and butter making! Don’t forget to visit the newly developed Agri-Village where you’ll find livestock showing, big machine displays, Tractor Ted, sheep shearing and milking demos, farmyard animals and much more.
