Frome Festival’s popular Food Feast returns outside the Cheese & Grain on Saturday 4th July. Starting at 5pm until 10pm this annual event attracts thousands down to the Market Yard car park for a treat for the senses!
The organisers say, “Arrive at the Frome Festival Feast in style by joining the Frome Street Bandits outside St John’s Church at 5.30pm for a celebratory procession to the Market Yard and the Cheese & Grain. Bring a flag to wave!
“Eat, drink and enjoy live music in Frome’s gorgeous riverside setting. With lots of different food and drinks stalls from the West Country offering a range of global cuisines, Frome’s taste buds are once again set to reach out to every corner of the world.
“While you eat Acoustic Plus will present live music to cater for all ears, including African kora from Guinea Conakry griot Mosi Conde; a funky-jazzy set from young Frome musicians Plume; the amazing Sam Evans and his band, and more…
“Also again this year are our special guest the Anonymous Travelling Market, with their happy band of stalls to tempt you further!
“There’s plenty of space to stand and dance, or sit and relax, with dedicated stalls for children’s activities from the Children’s Festival, and the music will all happen inside the Cheese & Grain if it’s raining.
“Free admission!”
