Want to avoid busy weekend Christmas shopping? Want to enjoy a festive relaxed shopping experience where you will have the time to browse and find those special and meaningful gifts for loved ones?
Frome Town Council, along with the Frome Chamber of Commerce, has organised late night shopping on Thursdays in the run up to Christmas. Participating shops will stay open until 7pm on the 5th, 12th and 19th December, giving shoppers time to visit, browse and buy in the wonderful range of independent shops.
Councillor Nick Dove said, “Forget shopping online – here’s a chance for residents and visitors to enjoy a shopping experience at shops which are brimming with character and full of unique gifts, many of which have been made or designed by local artists.”
To entertain shoppers while out and about in the town on these late nights, there will be various on-street entertainment for them to enjoy, Father Christmas will be there to take any last minute letters and there will be stalls selling mulled wine and delicious seasonal treats.
Look out for the posters in participating shops, or head to the Discover Frome website where you can find details of the stores and their promotions. Please pop along and support your local shops.
