A TERRACE of new houses at Frome’s former police station has been named in memory of a police officer from the town, whose wife and children officially opened the development this month.
The 61-home ‘Old Nurseries’ development on Oakfield Road was officially opened by Emma Stoodley, wife of the late PC Kevin Stoodley, together with their sons Tyler and Kai, and daughter Sapphira.
The front terrace of three-bedroom homes will be known as Stoodley Terrace in memory of PC Stoodley and his commitment to Frome.

The site is on the former police station and magistrates court, however maps show that from the late 1800s the site was a plant nursery, Oakwood Nursery.
The development includes 12 shared equity and affordable rent homes from Selwood Housing.
