Frome Renewable Energy Co-op is offering free thermal imaging for local households to pinpoint where they are losing heat.
For one month only, until the 15th March, the co-op is offering this service for free in return for filling in a quick survey about their upcoming community share offer. The co-op is also trialling a not for profit draught-busting service, ideal for anyone who doesn’t have the time or DIY skills to make their home more cosy.
Anna Francis, Frome Town Council’s energy officer said, ‘This is a great time to make the most of free offers in Frome. For the next few weeks residents can access free thermal imaging, free insulation and free Energy Performance Certificates.
“It’s also national Fuel Poverty Action day on February the 27th and as well as these offers, Frome’s energy volunteers can offer free home visits for people who are struggling to keep their homes warm and pay their energy bills.”
