First Prize Rotary Writing Winner at Oakfield Academy

A year 7 student from Oakfield School has won first prize in a writing competition organised by The Rotary Club of Frome.     

Ella’s story of  500 words was called ‘Our World is Beautiful’ and is set in the future. Ella attended an award ceremony with Miss Hall, her English Teacher and Miss Wilkes, Head Teacher, her mother and grandmother were also there. Ella now goes through to the district final, later in the year.
