Five Frome writers will be reading extracts from their freshly-published memoirs, upstairs at the Cornerhouse on Wednesday December 7th at 7.30pm.
Karine Butchart, Tim Cutting, Des Harris, Denis Ostler and Steve Small explored their personal narratives for three years with local writer and tutor Rosie Jackson. This journey culminated in a highly successful launch at the Merlin Theatre; both of Rosie’s own memoir The Glass Mother, and those of the ‘graduate’ students, now published under a new imprint, Yarn Press.
Three of the books are now available for sale at the Hunting Raven bookshop in Cheap Street, Frome. These are: Karine’s Soul Land, Des’s Running Over and Steve’s Mind The Gap.
You are warmly invited to come to the Cornerhouse and hear the five read about the times of their lives.
