FROME Floral Arts Society will be joining a nationwide campaign, ‘The Lonely Bouquet’ on Friday 6th May.
To celebrate National Flower Arranging Day, the National Association of Flower Arrangement (NAFAS) ask members to leave flowers in public places for people to be able to pick up and keep.
Sandra Gillson, secretary of Frome Floral Arts Society said, “There is no better way to say it than with flowers which is why NAFAS is spreading lonely bouquets in public places around Frome to be picked up by an unsuspecting passerby on Friday 6th May.
“If you find a bouquet, hopefully it will bring a smile to your face and we would love to know the journey’s end for this bouquet.”
