Frome’s newest community centre, The HubNub will be opening up a world of dance with a new class and free taster session next month.
The Desert Divas’ World Dance class is a multi-cultural programme that offers a low-impact workout that incorporates popular dance styles from around the globe.
The 60-minute class is led by Raheesha, a sought-after dance teacher and choreographer, who has based the sessions on her 20 years of experience as a performer and instructor.
Open to all fitness levels, shapes, sizes and ages, the classes combine Bellydance, Bollywood, Flamenco, Latin American, and Hawaiian Hula moves.
Raheesha, who also teaches at the Cheese & Grain on Monday afternoons said, “I’m very excited to start teaching a weekly evening class in Frome, and the HubNub offers a great space and welcoming atmosphere.”
A free taster session will take place at the HubNub Centre on Whittox Lane, on Wednesday 13th April from 6.30pm-7.30pm, with weekly classes to follow.
