FOR those who missed Stolen Moments on Saturday 9th December with bassist Nick Pini, featuring jazz ballads rarely heard, the concert will be featured on Frome FM at 11pm on Sunday 7th January, then again at 7pm on Wednesday 10th January.
“The next Stolen Moments is on Saturday 13th January with the great jazz pianist John Law,” says organiser and pianist Keith Harrison-Broninski. “This piano and electric piano duo gig will feature jazz arrangements of prayers from around the world and throughout history, ranging from an eighth century Hebrew melody through the simple and beautiful songs of Taizé to their own originals and other modern compositions.
“Then on Saturday 10th February Stolen Moments features singer Rosanna Schura and violinist Nathan Mansfield. To get you in the mood for Valentine’s Day, their concert will feature the gorgeous, unforgettable songs of Bacharach and David. Rosie and Nathan last played together in 2018 for Frome Jazz Club’s Season of Song.
“To hear these concerts live, come along to Christ Church from 3pm to 5pm on Saturday 13th January and Saturday 10th February; entry is free and refreshments are available as well as cushions for the pews.
