Shoppers in Frome are in for a treat on the first weekend in December.
Shops in Frome will soon be increasing their opening hours, giving you a chance to get that all-important Christmas shopping done.
Many will be open until 8.00pm for the Christmas Lights Switch On – Friday 1st December. On the following day, Saturday 2nd Frome, Frome Chamber of Commerce and Mendip District Council have arranged free parking in the Cattle Market car park for Small Business Saturday, with the message – “Get your Christmas shopping done and support your local shops.” Some shops will also be open for longer on Sunday 3rd for the December Independent Market.
Following this, most local shops will be participating in late Thursday shopping, staying open until 8.00pm every Thursday up until Christmas.
