A FROME business will make its big-screen debut later this month when 20th Century Fox’s blockbuster, The Greatest Showman, hits cinemas across the UK on Boxing Day.
Aerial Boots, owned by Danielle Jones, was hired by the production company to hand make trapeze legwear, known as aerial trapeze gaiters, for the film that is being hailed as the one to watch this festive season.
The film stars big Hollywood names including Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Michelle Williams. Inspired by the imagination of P.T. Barnum, The Greatest Showman is an original musical that celebrates the birth of show business and tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.
Danielle said, “We supplied 14 pairs of gaiters for the actors and stunt doubles. I’ve seen the trailer and a few pictures from the film, they look amazing – I’m so proud. I am really excited to see them up on the big screen!
“It feels great to have a niche business recognised in such a big way. Since I started the business a year ago it’s grown and grown. I’m curious to see what happens next for me and the business once the film comes out.”
