A presentation was held at the Chesterhouse, for members of the Frome & District Cribbage League, who participated in a summer pairs tournament.
The league’s winning pair was Shirley Rodgers and Heather Pruett, with Vanessa Leggett and Ann Underhill as runners-up.
The pairs knockout winner was awarded to Bob Cannings and Andrea Lanfear, with Shirley Rodgers and Heather Pruett as runners-up. A singles knockout tournament was won by Steve Boorer, with second place awarded to Barry Pruett.
With the winter fast approaching, the start of the Frome and District Cribbage 2018/19 League is soon upon us. Any venues wishing to enter a team in the 18/19 season are required to send a representative to attend a meeting at the Vine Tree on 18th September at 8pm.
