BOUDICCA’s Child, an all female band from Frome, release their debut album “Walking for Freedom” on Sunday 3rd May.
The first track “Bang Bang” written by band member Vicki Love, sums up this year for everyone – with plans disrupted, engagements cancelled, holiday plans halted and relationships changed.
While many of us are finding these times challenging, it is paramount to remember those less fortunate than ourselves, especially those for whom being at home is not a safe place.
Calls to Refuge’s national domestic abuse helpline rose by 49% and killings doubled weeks after lockdown.

100% profits from the track ‘Bang Bang’ including it’s portion from album sales will be donated to Refuge.org.uk for the duration of lockdown.
