Charlotte, aged 20, was crowned alongside her attendants, Kayleigh May Davey, Rebecca Milner, Alex Morgan and Jessica Davies.
Megan Wright, aged 10, was announced as the children’s queen with attendants Jasmine Wells, Ella Breese, Georgia Kitchen and Martha Peet. Susan Swan was crowned carnival granny.
Miss Teenager, Lily Breeze aged 13, was chosen from 14 entries and Melissa Cook was announced as the Miss Teenager attendant.
June Barnes, chairman of the carnival committee said, “It went very well. The royalty will be in the carnival and are available to open events and present awards within the community.
“We have also raised some much-needed money which will be used throughout the year to help those who are in need in the Frome area and surrounding villages.”
This year’s carnival takes place on Saturday 20th September. For more information on the carnival and its events, please visit www.fromecarnival.org.uk.
