Professional musician, Jo Burt, visited sixth formers at Frome College on Thursday 10 October, and the college says, ‘It wowed our A-level music technology students.
“The group of sixth form students were tasked with recording a ‘live lounge’ style performance and radio interview conducted by our IT technician, Will Angeloro, and his daughter Jessie in Year 9.
“A truly enlightening interview took place with Jo talking about his career working with the likes of Freddie Mercury and Black Sabbath as a bassist. Jo entertained the students, sharing stories from a life of touring and working at such a high level, leaving our students filled with enthusiasm and newfound knowledge of the music industry.
“Jo is currently undertaking a tour promoting his own original music as a singer songwriter. He is performing on his ‘Acoustic by Candlelight’ tour in Mells on Friday 15th November.” Tickets are available on his website at www.joburt.co.uk
