MEMBERS of Frome Musical Theatre Company enjoyed an evening of celebration, glitz and glamour at their annual Star Awards presentation and dinner earlier this month.
The event was held at the Cheese and Grain and was sponsored by a range of supportive local businesses including main sponsor, Orchardleigh Estate.
With the company in rehearsals for their forthcoming production of Titanic the Musical, the theme was very much Titanic with a range of White Star memorabilia and props decorating the venue.
Among the award-winners were also recipients of long service National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) medals. Pam Neilson and Annette Lee received 25 years’ service medals and Gill Barnes received a 60 years’ diamond pin.
Kathryn Wright was the winner of the President’s Cup for ‘Under 21 Singing Performance’.
Titanic the musical runs from Tuesday 8th- Saturday 12th May at the Frome Memorial Theatre. Tickets are on sale now from the Frome Memorial Theatre box office www.fmt.website 01373 462795
