FUNDS raised for charity by Frome College’s BTEC World of Work students have been presented.
The students organised a Christmas-themed ‘mufti day’ for the college as part of their course team work task. Another group of students arranged for Christmas gift boxes to be sent to children.
Steff Cox from Dorothy House, visited Frome College on Thursday 8th March, to meet the students and principal, Ms Reynolds, to collect the cheque for £711.21p. The sum total of the non-uniform day was added to the funds raised from the Christmas Carol Concert at St John’s Church.
Another group of boys are planning to run a cake sale for charity soon.
Frome College thanked everyone at the college and in the community, who has generously contributed to the college fundraising campaign.
