Frome Community Lottery has raised over £75,000 for local causes in Frome and surrounding villages since it was set up in the year 2000, with cash prizes given each week.
Members of the community lottery pay £1 a week and are allocated six numbers. Weekly prizes range from £5 to the top prize of £25,000.
The profits of the lottery, amounting to 50% of the stake, comes directly back to the Frome Community Trust to spend on grants for groups and organisations in Frome and the local area.
In the latest draw, Jim and June Beck from Frome won £1,000 after correctly matching five out of six numbers in the weekly draw to win their prize. They have been members of the community lottery for several years and have only ever won £2 before, so their win came as a big surprise.
To be in with a chance of winning these prizes, you can join the Frome Community Lottery by picking up a form at the library or by joining at www.fromecommunitytrust .btck.co.uk.
