Frome Cricket Club recently held their youth presentation evening to celebrate the end of the youth cricket season.
The club reports, “We were delighted that Craig Parsons of Payman.co.uk was able to join us as the sponsor for youth cricket at Frome. His support throughout the year to help the club develop youth cricketers has been greatly appreciated by all at the club.
“Robin Lett, head coach, assisted by a team of coaches and experienced players, led the coaching sessions for the youth sides, which saw 57 youth players turning out for 4 teams throughout the season in the following age groups: U9s, U11s, U13s and U15s. Joe Smart managed the U11s and 13s and Ryan Gullock managed the U15s.
“The youth development programme at Frome is in place to coach players through the youth ranks and upwards into senior cricket teams. Each player was awarded a medal and there was a trophy awarded to each team’s Player of the Year.
“The photo shows Craig Parsons from Payman.co.uk with each Player of the Year.
