A Frome family has once again decorated their home with a dazzling Christmas lights display to raise funds for charity.
The family, from Mill Close, is raising funds for Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance Charity after the children chose the charity as this year’s beneficiary.
“Many times, my children have stood out watching it fly above our house before landing in the field right next to us. Although it lands to help treat those in need of special care, it is just wonderful to see,” explained family member Tracey Moore.
“On visiting the Royal Bath and West Show, the children were amazed to learn all about the helicopter, the flights, and the cost just for one journey, which is why this year they have chosen this charity.”
The family held a Christmas lights switch on, on 1st December and are encouraging the community to stop by, view the lights and make a small donation if they can.
“Thank you all so much. Sending much love and Christmas cheer,” says Tracey.
Last year, the family decorated their home to raise funds for local charity Time is Precious, which helps children in hospital and at home who have long-term illnesses with equipment. It was set up by local parents Neil and Nicky Halford in memory of their son, Ben, who died from cancer in 2010.
