A WOMEN’S clothing shop on Cheap Street has been announced as a finalist in the South West Fairtrade Business Awards, after entering the competition in preparation for Fairtrade Fortnight.
Fine Fettle was shortlisted in the retail category earlier this month.
Owner Jo Smith said, “We’re over the moon to have made it to the final. Fine Fettle always works to support fairtrade with its products whenever possible and being shortlisted for the award will increase the profile of ethical shopping to our customers and hopefully raise awareness for fairtrade all round.
“To source our clothing, jewellery, accessories and gift items ethically whenever possible has always been at the forefront of our business model and the search for new products and makers never stops!”
Managed by Renate Dove (pictured below) and selling brands such as Nomads, Gabrielle Parker, Pachamama, Namaste, Maison Bengal, Dassie, Just Trade and Treaty jewellery, Fine Fettle has become a popular destination for Frome shoppers who love good quality fashion and jewellery with a conscience.
The Fairtrade Business Awards take place at the At-Bristol Science Centre on Friday 11th March.
